the 2 parties
Wow, I really think everyone was out to go to Drunkenland last night. I headed to Tristin's first, since I had agreed to come to his party earlier, and besides, I hadn't seen his family for ages. His birthday was 2 Mondays ago, but who cares! I think he liked the poker set I got him, especially the 4 shot glasses that we made good use of!

Image hosting by Photobucket

We got the food and drinks and set his place up real nice. Once we picked the rest of the guys up, the party got into full swing. Ali came sauntering in with *gasp* a bottle of Finlandia Vodka and another bottle of Conquistador Tequilla! Ooh, helloooooo!

Image hosting by Photobucket

We stuff more food into our mouths to avoid getting drunk and then proceed to experiment with the vodka, orange juice and lemonade.

Image hosting by Photobucket

Next we were educated by the guys on how to take tequilla shots! Okay, I honestly don't really remember how tequilla tastes like cause I hurriedly gulped it down, but the technique itself is soooo enticing! For those who don't know how to do it, you gotta lick salt from your hand, down the tequilla and suck on the lime. It sounds weird, but once you do it once, you'll love it! ;)

Image hosting by Photobucket

That party was mostly food, drinks, loud hip-hop music, creating mad dance moves, and catching up with people from uni. It's funny how you hardly see each other, even when you're on the same campus, what more those who don't even go to the same uni. Ahhh, I miss seeing people like Carey around a lot.

Image hosting by Photobucket

Told you she's kinky!! ;)

Then I said goodbye to everyone and caught a lift to the next party!

I got there and THE boy* opened the door for me, only to find a whole mass of people outside, already leaving, and wish Kevin a happy birthday, only to have him shove a whole carton of VB into my arms. Thanks, buddy! :P But yay, THE boy* grabbed it off me. Wheee, sometimes I like being the helpless female. ;)

Image hosting by Photobucket

I only missed out on the eating part and Kevin's earlier drinking, so I thought, no big deal. After all, we were planning on getting him absolutely smashed. Well, I was, anyway. ;) And then I went into the kitchen to find Ryan and Yi Ting happily mixing something...

Image hosting by Photobucket

Notice the sticker that says "love me".. :P

If that is not a huge watermelon... then I'm not seventeen!

They dug out half the watermelon or more, left some juice in there and proceeded to pour Smirnoff in. Oh. My. God! You guys are ingenious! *kowtows* I can't believe you bought this for 20 bucks, Aundre! Lol!

Image hosting by Photobucket

He approved, I guess, cause we started playing blackjack! With Kevin as the dealer, of course. ;) But first, another look at that monster...

Image hosting by Photobucket

(Sze Aun (in orange) looking over the watermelon, even as he takes a smoke, lol)

Yeah... it's massive!

So with the blackjack, Kevin was obviously the loser here, since we were all owning him with good cards. The guy that helped him before with his debts (sorry, I can't remember his name!) left and Sze Aun took over. Soon enough, Sze Aun was drunk and he began picking Yi Ting up. Hahaha, you could've made it a little less obvious!

Image hosting by Photobucket

Once, the watermelon stuff runs out, I decide to offer my Smirnoff Double Blacks. Ooh, yummm, it began to taste much better. And then in goes Victoria Bitter, a form of beer. When that was gone, we were going by half cans of VB.

Image hosting by Photobucket

Finally, Jonathan got back with another bottle of Smirnoff and Sprite.

Yes, we're all aspiring alcoholics. How'd you know?

We continued with the blackjack for awhile before we switched to the drinking game. Ahhh, fun fun. Always a bag of laughs. And this is pretty much how the night ended...

Image hosting by Photobucket
(Ryan, Kevin and Jed, with Ben's foot)

either we had a good time laughing at other people, we were busy drinking or we did stupid things. I know I was the first two! :) And for the first time ever, I heard Jed swear. A lot. Haha, now I know how to tell when he's drunk!

At 2 am, Sharon, Kevin and I left to catch the bus. For the first few minutes, I really thought Kevin was gonna take a tumble. Awww. too bad there were no shopping trolleys around, theZebra.

Well, we all got home safe and sound, and I was just happy. Hehe, I love weekends where you don't have to worry about exams and assignments, enjoy everyone's company while you party hard! To all the April birthdays, cheers! ;)

Physical similarities
Okay, so some of you will never be able to meet THE boy* in person and I don't see the possiblity of me putting up his photo. But really, I can give you a few ideas of what he's like, in terms of his physical similarities.. with me!

We both wear contact lenses/glasses. I think I'm the blinder bat here though.

He has two piercings on his left ear (well, I think it's left), and so do I, even if I have two on the right ear too.

He thinks he has a tummy. I have one too!
(I feel like Otto here, except she doesn't have a tummy, tee-hee)

And we both have football legs = defined calves!

But that's where our similarities end. Which is good, 'cause I figure I wouldn't wanna date someone who looks just like me, except with no chest, and an extra something...

Guess the song in the shuffle!
Because I tagged Max and he's a sore one, he's tagged me back with a different, much more interesting one, to which I want you guys to answer! Be good sports! I want that comment box to be full of guesses!

[01] On your current playlist, hit shuffle and pick the first twenty songs on the list. [02] Write down the first line of the song. [03] Have your friends comment and see if they know the songs. [04] When someone guesses correctly, strike out the line and list the correct name of the song next to it. [05] If the first line of the song contains the title, skip it!

Note: I only picked the ones that I knew (some of) the lyrics to, and for some, I threw in the next line because they might've been lines from a billion songs otherwise.

1) When I am down, and oh my soul, so weary Josh Groban's You Raise Me Up
2) Never made it as a wise man, I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealing Nickelback's How You Remind Me
3) My father came from Japan in 1905 Fort Minor's Kenji
4) I wanna make you smile, whenever you're sad, carry you around when your arthritis is bad Adam Sandler's I Wanna Grow Old With You
5) I can't believe you had the nerve to say the things you said
6) I just wanted you to comfort me, when I called you late last night Marc Anthony's You Sang To Me
7) No, don't just walk away, pretending everything's okay Michelle Branch's Are You Happy Now
8) 4 o'clock in the morning, my mind's filled with a thousand thoughts of you Ronan Keating & LeAnn Rimes' Last Thing On My Mind
9) 2 am, and she calls me cause I'm still awake Anna Nalick's Breathe
10) Sometimes, I feel the fear of uncertainty stinging clear Incubus' Drive
11) This beat is automatic, supersonic, hypnotic, funky, fresh
12) All I am, all I'll be, everything in this world, all that I'll ever need, is in your eyes 98 Degrees' I Do Cherish You
13) And when I see you, I really see you upside-down Death Cab for Cutie's A Lack of Color
14) Was it you who spoke the words that things would happen but not to me Jason Mraz's You and I Both
15) Beauty queen of only eighteen, she had some trouble with herself Maroon 5's She Will Be Loved
16) I didn't mean it when I said I didn't love you so Mariah Carey's We Belong Together
17) We got the afternoon, you got this room for two John Mayer's Your Body is A Wonderland
18) And I'd give up forever to touch you Goo Goo Dolls' Iris
19) One more kiss could be the best thing 3 Doors Down's Let Me Go
20) Maybe it's intuition, but some things you just don't question Savage Garden's I Knew I Loved You

Funny that I'm doing this tag while Hitz FM is having their million beats competition. ;)

What I'm not...
is an alcoholic. I just thought I'd clarify that.

I like to think of myself as someone who is just a little knowledgeable about a few alcoholic drinks. Very little, okay? And by alcoholic drinks, I mean the type that can be bought at shops, even if I'm not the one doing the buying, or whichever one that comes along my way.

*sings* Bailey's, Kahlua, Smirnoff Ice and Double Black, Kristov's Vodka Cruisers, Bacardi Breezers, Corona Extra, Hahn Premium Light, Carlton Draught, Bundaberg Rum & Cola, Malibu, Skyy, Carlsberg, Heineken, Southern Comfort, any red wine.

That's it. Even if I don't remember some other stuff I've had before cause no one bothered to enlighten me. +_+

I'm waiting to find out what Cowboy, 42 below, Stella Artois and Hoegaarden taste like. I don't know jack about cocktails like sex on the beach because currently, they're beyond me. Though I've promised Dom that sex on the beach'll be my first legal drink in November.

Yeah. I'm seventeen.

It'll be a bit quiet here till Sunday (if I have the will to keep it this way :P)!
Coffee. Food. Assignment.

Check. Check. And another check...

Where the hell is my motivation?!! :P

Okay, so I'm procrastinating again just to tell you that I'm boggled down with 2 essays, one due on Wednesday, another on Friday. I'll be at my aunt's on Friday night. There's a party on Saturday night to celebrate Tristin's belated birthday. Yay, I shall educate them on drinking games! And he'll get that poker set for his birthday!

So looks like my next post should be on Sunday... or whenever I'm procrastinating (not in the next 5 minutes)!

And because you're gonna be so deprived of my blogging (bet you're thankful, hehe), I'm plugging 2 blogs here. I've made a new friend, Kyels, and I want you guys to say hello (go to her blog :P), be nice and read what she has to say. Trust me, she writes beautifully!

Those of you who have been reading this blog for awhile or know me in person would probably already know Kitty or heard about her enough that you're already sick of her, but it so happens I want you guys to get more sick of her! Yay! I was just joking, Kitty, please don't get J-boy to shoot me, hehe. Specifically, you need to read the post entitled '-=LiSten=-'

So now that I'm done shamelessly whoring these 2 beautiful girls (Kitty's unavailable, I dunno about Kyels), you need to get moving to their blogs!! CLICK CLICK!!

The Shuffle that didn't originate from Melbourne
Stolen from Friendster, as posted by Sue Ching.

Go to your music player of choice and put it on shuffle.
Say the following questions aloud, and press play.
Use the song titles that come up to answer each question.
NO CHEATING.

I added in my thoughts of how the song really relates to the question. :)

How does the world see me?:
Jem-They
As the lyrics goes, it is because it's true that ignorance is bliss? Do you see what I see?

Will I have a happy life?:
Aslyn-That's When I Love You
This song is about loving your man in good times and bad, since she sings about loving her man even when he forgets she's standing in the rain. If that's what makes me happy.. :)

What do people really think of me?:
LCD Soundsystem-Daft Punk Is Playing At My House
This is a really random song off the OC soundtrack, and the song is about the dude getting Daft Punk to perform at his house. Err.. do people think I hold parties or gigs? Cause I sure as heck don't!

Do people secretly lust after me?:
Usher-Truth Hurts
Haha, that's a NO!

How can I make myself happy?
Linkin Park feat Jay-Z-I.Z.Z.O./In The End (Live)
'Tried to hold on, and didn't even know, wasted it all just to watch you go. I kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart.' Is that a cue to stop trying, and maybe stop holding on to the past?

What should I do with my life?
Christina Aguilera-Reflection
Ahh.. bloody good timing for that song to appear. :) 'If I wear a mask, I can fool the world, but I cannot fool my heart... I will show the world what's inside my heart and belong for who I am..'

Will I ever have children?:
Foo Fighters-Best Of You
All I can pick from the song that's relevant is 'I'll never give in'. I love children, so yes, I'm hoping i will.

What is some good advice for me?:
Savage Garden-I Knew I Loved You
There was once that I really felt it's true.. 'I think I dreamed you into life... I have been waiting all my life...' I haven't felt that way in a really long time.

What do I think my current theme song is?:
Planet Shakers-I Believe
This song was sent to me by a very random acquaintance whom I've lost touch with due to the death of ICQ, but recently, I've been making a lot of contact with people from the past (BTW, I don't mean from my previous life =.=). Nothing to do with the song lyrics, more to do with the song itself.

What does everyone else think my current theme song is?:
Lifehouse-The End Has Only Just Begun
I've only heard this song a few times, but there's a part that goes 'so stop counting the hours, live out in the world'.

What song will play at my funeral?:
Lisa Loeb-Stay
'And now that I'm leaving, now that I know that I did something wrong cause I missed you.' Yeah, i suppose I will miss people. :)

What type of men/women do you like?:
Anthony Callea-I Want To Know What Love Is
Err.. it's a song about having too much heartache to change having a lonely life. So.. I need someone who can make me change?

What is my day going to be like?
Pink-You Make Me Sick
I think the title says it all, even if I don't know who has that capacity to actually make me sick.

Why am I here?
Usher-You'll Be In My Heart
'For one so small, you seem so strong. My arms will hold you, keep you safe and warm. This bond between us can't be broken. I will be here, don't you cry.' My little sister comes to mind. :)

What will people remember me for?
Jack Johnson-Taylor
Right, I've never really paid attention to this song when it's playing. 'She just wanders around, unaffected by the winter winds. Yeah, she'll pretend that she's somewhere else, so far and clear about two thousand miles from here.' I take it you'll remember me for my dreamy attitude and my ability to just stare off into space like the hottest dude on earth is floating in mid-air.

What song will I get stuck in my head tomorrow?
Ying Yang Twins feat Pitbull-Shake
Haha, I wouldn't mind! It makes me feel like dancing whenever I hear it!

Are there people outside waiting to take me away?
Destiny's Child-Through With Love
I guess not. Lol.

What will this year be all about?
Alicia Keys feat Nas & Rakim-Streets of New York
It wouldn't be all thug gangsta, I don't think. But it is indeed 'a jungle out there'.

Same old. I tag Trinity, Averdim, Sa-chan, Max, Munak, Tim, Kitty, and anyone else who owns a blog that sees this. Kyels, I know you don't do tags, but if you're free, girl! :) Oh, you guys are excused if you have already done the previous one on songs, but hey, this is a blog filler! Hehe.

Repaying beer with girly drinks!
When I went to Aundre's house for his birthday celebration, Jed who I had only met a couple of days before blessed us all with one entire carton (carton?) of beer and we all happily helped ourselves to it during the drinking game. I don't remember saying thanks, oops. And he invited me to a party tonight through Nick but I couldn't go since I had also said no to two other invitations...

Well, since Jed was so nice to offer me these:

Hahn Premium Light (Image from EOpinions)

I shall be bringing girly drinks to his next party to repay him! I wonder how he would react... ;)

I present to you my favourite lovelies:

Kristov Vodka Cruiser (Image from Independent Distillers)

I reckon they're the best girly drinks ever made, yay!

I'll cross my fingers that Jed does not get appalled, which would result in him never inviting me to any of his parties ever again. ;)
